Many of us would like to lose weight. It may just be 5 or 10 "vanity pounds," or a quite a bit more, but we all have a very important factor in common. We all want weight loss solutions that work. If they could be easy, not require us to give up food we love, or have to exercise; that might be a bonus. Sorry folks, it just does not happen that way. Few things of worth come to us easily. We've all heard it before and although we don't like what we hear, it's true.

Aim to get a little exercise every day. Walk a little during lunch or after dinner. Turn your already boring housework into a workout. Enlist a friend to exercise with you. Your little walk will be so much more fun if you have someone to chat with. If you don't think you can do it alone, talk to your doctor about what he or she advises. Try some of the weight loss programs readily available in your community. If you like a group setting, try Weight Watchers. You can do Weight Watchers online now if that's your preference. Let's say you hate to cook or are too busy to cook; try Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, or some frozen dinners. There are lots of options to choose from and if you don't have time to cook, a healthy meal is just minutes away. You do not have to rely on the fast food drive through lane.

Weight loss solutions may not be a piece of cake, but they don't have to be awful. Indulge in a little dark chocolate every day. It will give you something to look forward to. Most importantly, if you goof up don't use it as an excuse to quit. Just move forward again the very next day with your healthy eating plan and pretty soon it will be second nature.
